Weakest UK pension funds covering 3 million people at 50-50 risk of not paying full pension

A report by the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association in the UK (27 September 2017) showed that 3 million UK defined benefit pension scheme members have only a 50-50 chance of receiving their full benefits. The report shows that despite employers spending £120 billion over the last 10 years in special contributions – pension deficits have remained at over £400 billion.
